1) Voice Activated Home Control system

This project aims to control the home Applications by using a voice command . We already implemented this project in hardware. We used HM2007  IC  for recognising the Voice . If  any one doing project under this topic you can suggest your queries here .We are ready to anwer your queries…..

Introduction:

                  Our project “Voice activated home control system “aims at operating most of the household equipments with the help of voice commands, to be precise it can turn on/off devices like television , air conditioner ,  fridge , computer etc just by saying some simple words; each meant for a particular device. In the nearby future all the devices either electronic or household, will be operated by voice commands. Putting on switches will be a thing of the past. So in that context our project has very much importance and possibilities.

 Even though there are a lot of home automation products are available on the market, they are quiet expensive because most of them require a centralized, dedicated computer or else controlled from the internet. But this project is fully based on embedded systems. Compared with the products available in market our project is a low cost one. The power requirements of this system are also very low.  The accuracy level is high as the realized products.

The applications of this project are diverse. It can be further developed to use in large organizations, industries or even controlling robots. This project would help home automation system makers and construction companies to make better automation systems based on voice control. It will be a blessing for disabled people and old age people. The system can be easily trained by anyone, and training is required only once after that the system stores the words in its memory. The user only has to repeat the word once again to turn on/off a device. The speech recognition IC we are using is HM2007, a relatively new IC with higher accuracy than the older versions.
